Gran Fondo Jawa Pos East Java Malang 2017

Fifth Year, Fifth Destination

Time flies! Gran Fondo Jawa Pos East Java now enters its fifth year. Started in 2013 as Audax East Java, the event visited many beautiful destinations in the province. This year, the event will have a new starting venue: East Java's second largest city, Malang. The event will start in the City Hall, heading south to visit the beautiful beaches of South Malang, and then goes back to Malang from another side. Participants will ride 167 km, with 2,033 m of total climbing. As usual, the stops will offer plenty of food and services.

Gran Fondo Jawa Pos East Java 2016

This will be the the fourth year Jawa Pos organize a long distance riding event in East Java. In October 2016, for one day, participants will experience riding roundtrip across the famous Suramadu Bridge, traveling from Surabaya to the island of Madura. The route will take the peloton to the east and back, visiting towns and tourist destinations of the island. There are no big climbs in Madura, so this event will be excellent for beginner and intermediate level cyclists, but still challenging enough for the avid participants.

Gran Fondo Jawa Pos Prambanan 2016

In August 2016, Gran Fondo Jawa Pos will be held for the first time in Central Java and Yogyakarta provinces. Traveling around the legendary temple of Prambanan, the route will cover the best of Yogyakarta, venturing to Central Java countrysides, visiting amazing places not normally visited by tourists. As usual, Jawa Pos famous service, support, hospitality, and surprises will be present.

Jawa Pos Cycling Bromo 100 KM 2016

Jawa Pos Cycling Bromo 100 KM is an annual climbing cycling challenge organized by the Jawa Pos newspaper in East Java, Indonesia. The ride is started in Surabaya, the capital of East Java province and the second biggest city in Indonesia, continuing to the city of Pasuruan. After the flat 60 kilometer trip, participants then climb up all the way to Wonokitri, a small village in the vicinity of Mount Bromo, an active volcano and East Java's most favorite tourist destination.
